We recently had a kitchen renewal with counters by J&D and couldn’t have gone better!! After a very stressful, unprofessional experience with a local big box store, we cancelled them and went to J&D. The entire process was a breeze! Communication/installation throughout process was professional and seamless. Natalie was our sales/design person, followed our lead, helped to choose counters within our budget and our taste. This company gets a 5 star rating!!

Description of Work: They custom built a vanity cabinet with a cultured marble sink top for our bathroom. J and D’s was recommended by the company who installed our new shower, Re-Bath. Delivery was on time, as planned and the vanity looked good with our new shower. We would probably use J and D Cabinets again in the future.

Ron is a great drywaller and cabinet installer. Ron went above and beyond to make sure the two month renovation went smoothly and offered great insight and suggestions. Jim worked with us to made sure all the various parts arrived timely, scheduled electrician, plumber, inspections etc and coordinated cabinet install. We did the kitchen demolition part of the renovation ourselves, J&D staff worked with us prior to demolition to make sure what we planned to do was viable and met code requirements. Washington County Inspectors also commented during the various inspection stages that J&D as well as their subs did quality work. Our kitchen was completed 3 months ago and we are extremely pleased with J&D’s kitchen renovation.

Description of Work: J&D Kitchens did an excellent job on our large scale kitchen renovation. J&D Kitchen’s estimate was competitive and final cost was accurate. Renovation included removing a wall, drywall bulkheads, tile floor, rewiring the kitchen, installing LP gas, plumbing updates, new cabinets, granite counters, new appliances, new range hood and location. J&D installed cabinets in house when it was built in 1998. The sides of cabinets were sun bleached and did not match cabinet facings. J&D installed new wood on sides of all cabinets so that cabinets match. Quality of cabinets has been i outstanding. We bought the house new in 1998. Cabinets look brand new again after recent work.

Description of Work: Update cabinet sidings on old cabinets.

From initial design consult through final design concept J&D was patient, insightful, creative and detail oriented. The demo and remodel was done with care and very efficient scheduling. The quality of all the work done by J&D and their sub-contractors was great. We’re very pleased and enjoying our new bath.

Great help from David Clugston on a kitchen island. I’m in Indianapolis and yet he was more than willing to answer questions about an island we saw on houzz (Baker & Poe Residence). Thanks for the help, and beautiful work!

Everyone here is awesome! 3 years ago we totally gutted our kitchen. I was on crutches and the guys were super helpful to me in general while working away.

Now we are totally remodeling our master bath and I wouldn’t have anyone but J&D do the work.

The tenure of their employees show how they care. I feel like they’re friends, not just workers on the job!

I would highly recommend J&D Kitchen. Our kitchen renovation was just completed. Kelli Nunnally was wonderful to work with, very patient with my changes and me going back and forth on the design.
Josh Martin was the contractor and he was great, very meticulous. Also, as with any renovations there are minor bumps in the road and J&D was on top of it. We just had our bathroom remodeled by J&D Kitchens. I have Parkinson’s and my wife and I wanted a shower we could just walk into. We met with Natalie Clever and discussed our needs. She created a CAD drawing the clearly showed that they could create a walk in shower with a seat, a fixed shower head, a shower head on a wand and plenty of solid, fixed safety bars. They provided us with glass shower doors installed by shower door experts in Jefferson, MD. The demo and install took 2 weeks.
Great crew to work with. J&D took care of subcontracting of plumbing, electrical, and painting. We are so pleased! Thank you, J&D!

We would highly recommend J&D Kitchen! We had Natalie help us choose everything for a TOTAL kitchen remodel and are so happy with how it turned out. When a few unexpected things came up, du to out home being older, they problem-solved everything, communicating details promptly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Stayed on timeline too! Great experience!
